USA: Nicaraguan worker dies of an elevator fall from a construction of a AT&T building in Kansas

The working conditions of a construction of a AT&T building in Kansas were questioned by employees before José Rodolfo García Sánchez, nicaraguan worker, died when he fell from the fourteenth floor from an elevator shaft while doing asbestos abatement work; employees complained about the poor lightning and safety at the building. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration confirmed an investigation of three companies: Infinity Resources Enterprises, a temp agency who Garcias-Sanchez was working for; New Horizons LLC., who was performing the work under contract and The Bernstein Companies, who owns the building. The Business & Human Rights Centre tried to contact the companies in relation to the death of José García, New Horizon LLC. and The Bernstein Companies did not response and we were unable to contact Infinity Resources Enterprises.
