Noon response to allegations of abuse of subcontracted & directly-hired migrant workers

BHRRC invited Noon to respond to allegations of poor working conditions, unfair recruitment and exploitation among directly employed and subcontracted workers; we also invited Noon to disclose what due diligence it undertakes on labour supply companies to ensure

  1. Labour standards are upheld,
  2. Working conditions monitored, and
  3. Remediation is accessible and administered for abuse when it does occur.

Noon response:

noon strongly refutes these allegations as grossly inaccurate misrepresentations.

The company’s commitment to employee welfare is fundamental to its operations. As a result, noon adheres to, and where possible exceeds, industry global best practices.

The company maintains full compliance with local health and safety standards and applicable laws, reinforced by stringent internal and independent audit processes.

Importantly our entire approach to employee welfare is underpinned by real time insights from our state of the art data systems.
