The final position of the motorway route through the territory of BiH was determined by the Spatial Plan of the area of special features of importance for the Federation of BiH "Motorway on Corridor Vc", which was adopted by the Parliament of FBiH in February 2017. During the implementation of the project, all legal measures of providing information, communication and visibility were implemented, the aim of which was to raise the awareness of the target groups of the project and the general public about the goals and results of project activities...

For the purpose of choosing the optimal route of the motorway in the area of Mostar South - Buna, the experts used internationally known methods of multicriteria analysis to compare the original routes from Project documentation, Alternative proposal from 2010 and the new selected route from 2017, based exclusively on aspects of population needs, preservation of natural values with a recognizable ambiance, increase of the degree of accessibility to material resources and goods, increase of the access to education, scientific and cultural institutions, health and social protection, i.e., providing support to economic development with full protection of the environment, i.e. preservation of a healthy environment. During the preparation of the planning document, constant, continuous and up-to-date communication was achieved through the procedure of public consultations and public presentations in the cantonal headquarters through which the route passes, and during which requests for route changes were collected...
