Regarding your email dated 2 December 2024 concerning allegations that our Group would invest in a coal-fired power plant with a capacity of 2500MW at the Batam Eco City project in Indonesia, we wish to clarify that our Group has not initiated any such project. We have neither agreed to nor decided to build a power plant or determined any method of power generation. No agreement or contract has been signed. The relevant Batam authorities have only proposed prices and conditions for project development to our company.

Furthermore, no individual or entity has applied for approvals or permits to build a power plant on behalf of our Group or company to: (1) local government departments in Batam; (2) relevant authorities; or (3) any agency. Therefore, there is no coal-fired power plant in Batam or Indonesia that is under review, approved, or under construction...
