Kenya: Leader says local community "worse off than before" Dominion Farms obtained land for agribusiness & promised to improve their livelihood

Siaya Governor Cornell Rasanga..[has claimed that ] Dominion Farms, an American company carrying out commercial farming in Siaya County’s Yala Swamp has failed to uplift the lives of local residents despite being allocated thousands of acres of land formerly held in trust by the defunct county council of Siaya and Bondo. The Business and Human Rights Resource Centre invited Dominion Farms to respond to the allegations. The company did not respond.
