Samsung response

This report indeed prompted us to re-examine the progress we have made in improving working conditions in our Indian factory, and having examined each point raised, we found that the right policies and practices are in place. Samsung Electronics  respects individuals’ human rights and abides by all labor and human rights laws in each region we operate, which includes our Indian factory. We want to make sure that Samsung’s Business Conduct Guidelines (attached) and all their provisions are implemented in practice in our factories. As a member of the EICC coalition, Samsung’s Business Conduct Guidelines are in line with the EICC Code of Conduct and international human rights principles.
