Structural inequality & discrimination against women highlighted in joint submission to UN Working Group for its upcoming report on access to remedy

In line with a survey conducted by the UN Working Group on business and human rights for its report on access to effective remedy for business-related human rights abuses, 9 groups and individuals led by International Women’s Rights Action Watch – Asia Pacific and Landesa Center for Women’s Land Rights made a submission focused on women’s rights and the need for remedies to account for structural barriers and entrenched discrimination faced by women.
