Stellantis responded to the allegations against Opel, Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep and Chrysler

At Stellantis, we take these matters extremely seriously. We have Global Responsible Purchasing Guidelines which are strictly adhered to when awarding direct suppliers' contracts with our company. Building strong responsible supply chains is an important focus for us. We monitor our suppliers’ compliance with our Code of Conduct (https://www.stellantis.com/en/company/governance/code-of-conduct) and respect for human rights by requiring contractual commitments and ongoing evaluation.

We are currently investigating claims made in the article and corresponding with our supply base.

We will continue to encourage the adoption and sharing of sustainable practices among our suppliers, including human rights. We are committed to responsible practices in our procurement activity, in consistency with social, environmental, and ethical principles such as those identified in the ILO Conventions and OECD Guiding Principles, the 2030 UN sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs), and the UN Global Compact among others.
