"Big business will be forced to report annually on slavery in supply chains", 16 August 2017

Large Australian companies will be required to report annually on measures they are taking to combat modern slavery, under proposed new laws designed to thwart trafficking and forced labour...

Under the legislation, companies with an annual turnover of at least [AUD]$100 million will be asked to publish "Modern Slavery Statements" and will be held to account on a publicly accessible central repository...

A discussion paper will be released by the government...for public consultation.
