An international plant science federation representing six major seed producers has outlined new tactics to help combat the problem of child labor in agriculture. CropLife International, a Belgium-based plant science association, produced a position paper jointly penned by the company's seed industry members, including Monsanto, Syngenta, DuPont, Bayer CropScience, BASF and Dow AgroSciences. The paper outlined a common approach to anti-child labor policies from each company.
